Offline What still works with no signal
Three different things work with no signal, and they cover different failures. The survival pack is phrases somebody guessed you would need. Translation memory is everything you have said before. The dictionary is the only one that helps with a word on a sign you have never seen — and it has to be downloaded before you need it, which is why it asks rather than doing it on your Korean data plan.
Backup Everything Dari knows, in one file
It all lives in this browser, on this device. Losing the phone loses the phrasebook, so take a copy — a year abroad is a lot of saved phrases.
Restoring merges rather than replaces, and never touches your Worker URL or access token — an old backup cannot disconnect a working phone.
